چکیده

Background: Chronic cardiac disease known as cirrhotic cardiomyopathy dysfunction in patients characterised by altered diastolic relaxation and/or impaired contractile reactivity to stress the absence of other recognised diseases.. Aim and objectives: The purpose study was evaluate tissue Doppler left ventricle's systolic characteristics performance with liver cirrhosis. Subjects methods: Al-Hussien Hospital, Al-Azhar University, did this cross-sectional case-control study, included 75 cirrhosis 25 healthy participants. There were four groups created from populations: volunteers make up control group. Patients Group 1 have Child A cirrhosis, while those 2 B 2., 3, which consists C Participants conducted transthoracic echocardiography, collection, lateral decubitus for assessment. We followed ASE's echocardiography guidelines. LV systole function. Results: statistically significant higher mean value group compared according MPI PWD, TDI, MV E/É ratio, DT (ms) IVRT p-value; average values EF Simpson, Average S wave, M mode all differed significantly. when comparing sick group., E/A ratio seen. p-value 0.05 used determine difference. Conclusion: Compared group, exhibited significantly worse ventricular functioning, decompensated showed a greater difference than compensated patients.

Assessment of left ventricular systolic and diastolic function by tissue Doppler imaging after acute myocardial infarction.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate left ventricular systolic and diastolic function by Tissue Doppler imaging after acute myocardial infarction. METHODS It was a hospital based, prospective descriptive study, from 1st July 2010 to 31st Dec. 2010. Total of 200 patients having acute myocardial infarction underwent detailed tissue Doppler imaging (TDI) echocardiographic examination for evaluation of left ven...

LEFT VENTRICULAR DIASTOLIC ABNORMALITIES IN β-THALASSEMIA MAJOR WITH NORMAL SYSTOLIC FUNCTION

In order to identify left ventricular diastolic function in patients with betathalassemia major and normal systolic function by noninvasive M-mode and Doppler echocardiography, an analytic study was designed in a university hospital in Sari. We have studied 44 patients (23 men and 21 women), mean age 15.48±2.16 (range 12 to 20) and 43 age and sex matched control subjects. Peak flow velocit...

The influence of Asthma on Right Ventricular Systolic and Diastolic Function in Children according to Tissue Doppler Echocardiography

Introduction:Asthma is the most common chronic inflammatory condition affecting the lower airways among children. Asthma may influence right ventricular (RV) function and patients may develop right ventricular hypertrophy, pulmonary hypertension and cor pulmonale. The main objective of this study is to determine RV dysfunction in asymptomatic asthmatic children as detected by ti...

Reference ranges for tissue Doppler measures of maternal systolic and diastolic left ventricular function.

OBJECTIVES Tissue Doppler imaging (TDI) is an echocardiographic technique that evaluates longitudinal myocardial tissue velocities during left ventricular systolic and diastolic function, relatively independently of loading conditions. Limited data are available regarding maternal cardiac function using TDI. The aim of this study was to construct reference charts for TDI indices in normal pregn...

Doppler echocardiographic assessment of left ventricular systolic and diastolic function in mild hypertension.

Abnormalities in left ventricular (LV) wall thickness and mass have been demonstrated in patients with mild hypertension utilizing M-mode echocardiography. In addition, studies using radionuclide angiography have demonstrated abnormalities in early diastolic LV filling in asymptomatic hypertensive patients with normal ejection fraction and cardiac output. Recently, Doppler recordings of flow ve...
